Just back from my coaching holiday in Morocco where we had some great conditions and I had even better feedback such as-
'Pasty was very helpful and his technical and practical knowledge of his sport is better than any other I have experienced in my 12 years of kitesurfing' Dr Tim.
Heres a brief gist of what went down!

As the snow started falling on 4th Feb, I made my way south with 6 Adventurers to the deserts oasis of Dakhla, Morocco. Staying at
Ocean Vagabond, we enjoyed 7 out of 7 days of wind and 3 days of waves with everyone learning loads. Free riding on the lagoon using TT’s and demo surfboards from North and Wave riding at the amazing right
hand point break of Oum Laboiur.
For a full report check out Pasty adventures website http://www.pastyadventures.co.uk/2/post/2012/02/dakhla-coaching-holiday-write-up.html

My next coaching trip is an improver camp in Safaga, Egypt 9th – 16th March followed by a Spring Wave Clinic at Gwithian on 24th March.
All info on the Pasty Adventures website.

There are now 2 places left due to a cancellation on my upcoming Freeride and Wave Coaching Holiday in Dakhla, Morocco on 5th Feb. Be quick as after these have gone there is no more room on the little Dakhla plane.
More details on my school website www.pastyadventures.co.uk or directly with the Holiday company Sportif-
 http://www.sportif.travel/news/show/new_kitesurf_clinics_2012
Hope to see you there for some fun and great kiting in the Sahara.
Check out the vid from when I was there in 2011 competing in the PKRA event.
We can expect similar conditions and I will have the 2012 North surfboards for demo.

Well the wind has finally stopped in Cornwall today after blowing non stop since my return from Cape Verde. Its been stupidily windy and ive only missed a few days on the water, a couple cause it was gusting 10-40knts and new years as was up in London. Other than that ive mostly been out on the 6m Rebel and its mostly been on the south coast with some amazing days at marazion and praa. Unfortunately to huge swell back in mid dec washed all the sand away from the super sketchy launch site at Porthleven making it impossible to get out on the kite. Gutted as a couple of days it would of been cover material 4 times overhead, but hopefully with light winds this week and big tides it will push the sand back?
Got loads of amazing pics going to the mags thenaks to www.jnpevents.co.uk and www.splashography.com where you can view or buy some that arent going to print.
Spaces are now filling up for my Dakhla coacing holiday so if you want to come along to this desert kite paradise be quick, details on website
http://www.pastyadventures.co.uk/holidays.html
Pretty busy this week working on the boat and finalsing my Resin8 Pro models, pretty exciting times and proto boards have been rocking.

Stay safe and if youre in the UK come down to Marazion next sat 14th jan for the www.keronwkitesurfclub.co.uk meet up with demo gear from North and more.

at home 23rd dec 2011
Well the end of the year is almost here and what a great year it was for Kitesurfing both around the World and at home here in Cornwall!
I finished 10th on the KSP World Tour which was a little disappointing due to my poor result in Mauritius and the lack of waves in Cape Verde. Still had some great times in some amazing places and learnt lots to practise to be ready for 2012 and gain some podium finishes!
In 2011 I have been to Dakhla & Lanzarote for the PKRA, Fuerte for a video shoot, Mauritius, Peru & Cape Verde for the KSP as well as all the trips around the UK chasing waves and competing in race events.
My best trip had to be Peru, due to the amazing long waves, friendly people and the culture. The best kite waves were in Mauritius at One Eye which was 20ft most of the time I was there. My best surf barrel was in Fuerte and my best day of the year was in Lobitos, Peru where I surfed, Kited twice then surfed again getting a load of tubes.
I have met some great friends on Tour, most noteably Mauricio and the Brazilian crew, who are great guys and super passionate as well as being amazing surfers and kiters. I cant wait to visit their home in 2012.

Still some of my best sessions have been at home in Cornwall, riding alone or with friends in amazing perfect waves and no crowds. Just a bit colder but in my West wetsuits you stay nice and warm and only have to stop riding when you are too tired to carry on.
Huge appreciation goes out to everyone involved with pushing the sport of Kitewave riding forward both at home and around the World.
Big thanks to all my sponsors and Joe Cockle of www.jnpevents.co.uk for taking the leatest pics at home.
You can check out the write ups and pics from my year by searching the blog.

I now have a Facebook page so like me and be in with a chance of winning some prizes in the new year.

After testing conditions of light wind for the doubles in Dakhla where I dropped down from 5th to 9th and horrible onshore conditions in Lanzarote with some strange judging, I am now ranked 9th in the world.
Pleased to be back home now after 31/2 weeks away and the surf is pumping so gonna grab a pasty and get on it.
got plenty of things to practise and need to get out in conditions I wouldnt normally ride in before the next comp in Tenerife in August.
will upload pics and more info soon.
Thanks to all my sponsors- North kiteboarding, ION, C Skins, Freeriders, Wiley X & 9 Bar.
cheers

I am finally finished packing, 3 surf boards, 3 kites Rebels 11,9,7, 2 suits and a little bit of clothes ready to head off tomorrow on tour. First stop is Dakhla, Morocco then onto Lanzarote for the next leg of the 2011 PKRA world wave tour. After Lanza im off to Fuerte for a 10 day video and photo shoot for my new board sponsors Newave, www.newaveboarding.com . Exciting times but going to be hard work and lots of flying and hanging out in airports. On way back from Dakhla ive got to overnight in Casablanca, then back to Gatwick before flying out to lanzarote 3 hours later. Lets hope there are no delays or missing bags!
Will try and keep my blog up to date but you can check out all the info on the comps on the PKRA website www.prokitetour.com
Must say a big thanks to C Skins for giving me a slick new 3x2 wetsuit and ION for giving me an overknee shorty and reef boots. If your in the market for a new suit and surf as well as kite check out C Skins for sure www.c-skins.com and if you only kite/windsurf you must go for an ION suit with the extra protection www.ion-essentials.com
Have fun, looks like the wind is coming back to Cornwall next week!
